Tasks for participants to do with website

Tasks to do in order:
(1)Determine if the heat is on. If the heat is on, please turn it off. If the heat is NOT on, leave the thermostat alone.
(2)Turn the cool mode on and set the temperature for 76 degrees
(3)Set and run the program so that during the week the cool mode is off from 9 am to 5 pm, but the cool mode is running at 72 degrees the rest of the time, including on Saturday and Sunday —— (does the wording on this make sense?)

Hmmm... I was thinking more along the lines of testing the basic functions. That way we are independent of the 'cool' and 'heat' mode..

(1a) turn system on
(1b) turn system off
(1c) determine if system is on or off

(2a) turn heat on
(2b) turn heat off
(2c) determine if heat is on or off

(3a) turn cool on
(3b) turn cool off
(2c) determine if cool is on or off

(4) get current temperature

(5) set temperature to a specific number

(6a) increease temperature by specific number (e.g., 5F)
(6b) increase temperature to a specific number (e.g., 75F)

(7a) increease temperature by specific number (e.g., 5F)
(7b) increase temperature to a specific number (e.g., 75F)

(8a) set future temperature ... and I refer to the task initially outlined in 3 above.
